Even more, it can be potential business venture to open more employment, alleviate poverty, reduce urbanization and increase community’s life quality. Despite its enormous benefits, the development of rural community-based entrepreneurships is still inhibited by some major barriers. Those barriers range from physical, hard, infrastructure to soft, human, capacity aspects. To increase its productivity, respond to more competitive business market and be sustainable, today’s community entrepreneurs need to develop more skills, persist positive business attitude and strong mentality. The study aims to explore roles of capacity building and supportive environment in promoting community-based entrepreneurship. The study adopts qualitative research method. The data are gathered and extracted from a community service program. This program aims to increase community entrepreneurs’ capacity of several small and medium scale enterprises at Lumajang. The study finds that the local entrepreneurs need more knowledges and skills on marketing and online promotion to increase their productivity and become more competitive in digital era. Islam does not view transactional leadership or leadership based on rewards and punishments as appropriate. In addition, Islam endorses Transformational Leadership while placing greater emphasis on the attainment of Al Falah. Through the analysis of tunes of development, this study argues development should be measured not only through the conventional way of measuring development by economic indicators, primarily measuring GDP (Gross Domestic Products), but also considering culture aspect to achieve a comprehensive measuring of development. Using study case of Navicula Band in its efforts to address environmental and social problems in Indonesia, this study shows an overview about the key to comprehensive development by analysing the society and its culture. This study aims to: analyze the feasibility strategy for a strawberry agro-tourism business, analyze the factors that support the sustainability of agricultural businesses, and analyze the factors that hinder the development of strawberry farming in Pandanrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City. The research location was agrotourism picking strawberries in Pandanrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, East Java. Data were obtained by the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Validity data was tested by triangulation technique—research using descriptive analysis. Their young age, dynamics and high enthusiasm can potentially boost their capacity to encourage community development. Moreover, recent digital technology and globalization provide fertile environment for youth to unleash their creative ideas and choose creativepreneurs as promising career. The study aims to examine social aspects which may facilitate youth potential creativity and develop entrepreneurial passion. The study is extracted from a community service program aimed at increasing competencies of Karang Taruna Karang Rejo Sawah, Surabaya. The data are collected through direct observation during the workshop session. The study finds that social environment can stimulate youth’s creativity through several ways. The first way is through youth social organization from which young people learn how to be creative, build social interaction, engage in non-formal education. The second way is through social inspiration from which youth can obtain or get motivation to start their own business by acknowledging successful and inspiring creativepreneurs’ sagas, creative products and inspiring messages or experiences. Successful creativepreneurs’ painful and rewarding experiences may strengthen youth’s creativepreneurship mentality. This study tries to analyze the Growth Modeling (Government Spending, Population, Wages) and (Alk and Kor (Technology)) of the economy needed to be able to analyze its effect on economic growth. This study used dynamic system modeling using Vensim. This growth is a form of economic growth that will have an effect on job creation and it will have a major effect on the unemployment rate. The results of the first simulation show that labor needs will be influenced by real wage or real wages, then by Short run Expected Demand, and Alfa. While the Alpha Forming Elements themselves are KOR (Capital Output Ratio), Life Of capital (ALK) and Real Interest Rate. The results of Simulation 2 show that the increasing economy will also increase the number of workers and capital, but that does not reduce unemployment. This is because the state of the kor and alk is considered constant. Furthermore, it will be tested in the next simulation when the alk dank or is not considered constant. Febrianti Febrianti@gmail.com <p><em>Gender Equality is one of the main targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For this reason, the complexity of problems in community development, especially women's empowerment, is an important dimension that needs to be analyzed in the context of achieving the SDGs. This research explores and analyzes how the Gender and Development perspective is used in developing coastal communities, especially in women's empowerment programs in the coastal area of Kenjeran, Surabaya City. The research used a qualitative method with a participatory rural appraisal (PRA) approach. Data collection was carried out using participant observation and focus group discussion techniques. The informants in this study were actors involved in the development and empowerment of women in the Kenjeran area of Surabaya, which were taken purposively according to the research objectives. The results of this study can become a reference and database in community development with a Gender and Development perspective. The research results provide policy recommendations, especially for development planners and stakeholders involved in developing coastal communities and empowering women in various regions in Indonesia.
