https://journal.its.ac.id/index.php/teknobisnis/article/view/2066

Workplace safety in coal-fired power plants in Sumatra, Indonesia, remains suboptimal, evident in the high incidence of work-related accidents leading to fatalities. This research acknowledges previous findings indicating that a significant portion of accidents is attributable to unsafe behavior. The aim of this study is to examine the combined impact of safety leadership, work pressure, safety culture, and safety behavior in a power plant in South Sumatra. Conducted at one of these facilities, the research utilized a questionnaire distributed to 102 respondents, with data analysis employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through Partial Least Square (PLS). Results indicate that work pressure influences safety culture and safety behavior, safety leadership affects safety culture but insignificantly impacts safety behavior, and safety culture mediates the relationship between safety leadership, work pressure, and safety behavior. The implications of these findings provide guidance for companies to enhance safety behavior, emphasizing the establishment of a robust safety culture and effective safety leadership to prevent workplace accidents.
Msy Cahaya D. https://journal.its.ac.id/index.php/teknobisnis/article/view/2067

In the process of procuring services for the selection of contractors in upstream oil and gas companies that comply with PTK 007 SKK MIGAS regulations, an appropriate decisionmaking method is needed, in accordance with the scope and can be applied, where the technical evaluation assessment requires multiple criteria with respective weightings. Previous research has mostly been carried out in the construction and non-upstream oil and gas industries where the determination of criteria has not been precise and practical as needed which can affect technical evaluation failures. These multi-criteria decision-making methods use the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, the results of which can be made into a mathematical model to determine the assessment of each potential winning contractor. The research began with identifying the criteria for previous research, the criteria currently used, and the classification of the appropriate criteria where the preparation was carried out using a questionnaire and a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) which was divided into 2 stages until each weighting criterion was obtained. This study resulted in 4 main criteria with 16 sub criteria where the main criteria with the highest weight was the ability to maintain and repair at 38.5%, with 2 sub criteria categorized as passed failed.
Febrita Kusuma WardanaValeriana Lukitosari

https://journal.its.ac.id/index.php/teknobisnis/article/view/2069

The Whistleblowing System (WBS) is considered necessary for PT PLN (Persero) to provide effective electrical services and interact with customers, employees, and stakeholders. The system identifies and manages fraudulent activities that could negatively impact companies and consumers. However, the current implementation of WBS in PT PLN (Persero) is not in line with customer expectations, as reporting is prioritized for convenience and security. This research aims to improve the quality of WBS complaint services and provide recommendations for effective WBS management proposals to maintain the independence and openness of the rapporteur. House of Quality (HoQ) is one of the methods used to establish a correlation between customer needs and service quality. After analysis and discussion, it was found that the attribute of courage to report violations is below the average value than the others attribute. Three suggestions to enhance the quality of WBS service management are standardizing WBS (based on SNI ISO 37002:2021 Whistleblowing Management System), providing a sense of security through rule-following protection, and keeping WBS applications updated with new developments.
Aulia Arif ShalihuddinNiniek Fajar PuspitaTatang Akhmad Taufik

The concept of sustainable development focuses on efficient resource utilization and waste minimization, aligning with lean principles, forming the basis for implementing Industry 4.0. When Industry 4.0 technology is applied to inefficient processes, it can exacerbate waste. The integration of these principles, known as Lean 4.0, addresses future challenges by enhancing efficiency, flexibility, and production quality. The initial step toward Industry 4.0 involves evaluating the maturity of lean implementation and readiness for Industry 4.0. However, there is a lack of a unified assessment tool for Lean 4.0, prompting this study to adapt existing tools. Utilizing INDI 4.0 as a reference model for Industry 4.0 readiness in Indonesian companies, the research proposes modifications to create the Lean 4.0 Readiness Assessment Tool, incorporating indicators for both lean and Industry 4.0 readiness. The study employs the Delphi Method for indicator validation. Delphi 1 aims to achieve consensus on suitable indicators to serve as guidelines in the assessment tool, while Delphi 2 seeks expert opinions regarding the importance levels of each indicator. This study suggests 5 dimensions and 69 indicators.
Princesia Olivia P RahmatindarMoses Laksono SinggihPutu Dana Karningsih

https://journal.its.ac.id/index.php/teknobisnis/article/view/2074

There are many problems and challenges in developing rural areas. This includes poverty and social isolation. Meanwhile, interest in the concept of smart cities has increased in recent years, as reflected in the number of studies published in academic journals. In contrast to smart cities, smartization in rural areas has received only scarce attention, despite the beneficial effect that the transformation of rural areas could have for society. Even though smart cities and smart rural face different issues, we can adopt smart city solutions to smart rural. Furthermore, we need to rethink the impact of technology and the overall idea of becoming “smart” in this context. To answer these problems, this study conducted a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) related to smart rural. According to the research results, smart rural is sustainable development in rural areas which was developed with a potential specialization approach and the use of technology. This study also finds that there are still few models, frameworks, or architectures for smart rural areas. Most research has created a model, framework, or architecture for smart cities. With this fact, research on developing models, frameworks, or architectures of smart rural is still open for further research
Agustika Indah MayangsariArry Akhmad Arman

https://journal.its.ac.id/index.php/teknobisnis/article/view/2075

PT. SC Johnson Manufacturing Surabaya produces insecticide products that are well-known to consumers in Indonesia and has a fairly strong image. However, since 2017 the company has experienced a decline in productivity from the original target of 87% and only achieved an average of 82%. This decrease in productivity is because there are still many defective products and a lot of waste, such as waiting, over-processing, transportation, unnecessary movements, over-inventory, etc. This was identified due to human errors in the form of human errors and knowledge-based mistakes in implementing organizational culture at work through the SEM method, with as many as 180 respondents from employees of PT. SC Johnson, the result is that the influence of organizational culture on employee performance is directly greater than mediated by human malfunctions and knowledge-based mistakes. Human malfunction variables need to be corrected. Employees are still used to working with the old procedures. These employees need more self- confidence and are the source of problems that must be addressed. Meanwhile, in the knowledge based error aspect, a significant indicator in reducing employee employment is that employees experience difficulties in solving specific problems, have less self-confidence, and carry out work according to wrong rules.
Achmad Zanwar AlfiyantoDian Ekowati
