Focus and Scope

Inferensi is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing advanced research in statistics and data science. It serves as a platform for original studies and practical contributions from scientists and engineers in both academia and industry.

Published triannually by the Department of Statistics ITS in collaboration with FORSTAT, Inferensi ensures timely dissemination of cutting-edge knowledge. It has been accredited as Sinta 2 by Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology since 2023.

Our journal fosters innovation and practical impact, supporting the growth of statistical science and data-driven solutions worldwide.

Submission Guidelines

Follow these steps to submit your manuscript

1Scope & Originality

Inferensi journal publishes original research and practical contributions from scientists and engineers across all relevant fields. Submitted articles must be unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts should be written in English.

2Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must follow a 1-column layout on A4 paper with specified margins and justified text. The structure should include Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results and Discussions, and Conclusions. Abstracts must be concise (max 200 words) with up to five keywords. Authors must provide full names, addresses, and email for the corresponding author.

3References & Citations

Use IEEE citation style with a minimum of 15 references, predominantly from journal articles. Reference numbers are cited in square brackets and listed in citation order at the end of the paper. Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools like Zotero or Endnote.

4Submission & Review Process

Manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers based on originality, quality, and significance. The Editorial Board makes final decisions to accept, request revisions, or reject submissions. Authors receive reviewer feedback and may provide rebuttals.

5Online Submission & Revision

Submit your manuscript following the provided template. If revisions are requested, authors should address reviewer comments and resubmit the improved manuscript promptly. The process aims to ensure high-quality, readable publications suited for digital formats.
