Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Submissions are required to be in Microsoft Word format, adhering to the provided template
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Inferensi journal publishes original articles on all aspects of original research and practical contributions by both scientists and engineers. Articles are considered for publication with the condition that they have not been published or submitted for publication by other publishers.

Language, manuscripts should be written in English.

 
Manuscript, once the manuscripts have passed quality control from the Editorial Board, they are assigned to several reviewers for conducting the peer-review process and for making a decision to accept, invite revision of, or reject the article. Since Vol. 4 No. 1 (2021), we improved the layout of the articles with the 1-column format. This new layout is expected to improve the readability of the published articles and to give a better experience for the readers, especially those who use digital devices.
 
Author’s Data, Author full name (no abbreviation) without academic degrees, and author full address (complete with postcode). For the corresponding author add the E-mail address.

Abstract, concise description (not more than 200 words) of the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions required. Keywords (not more than 5) should be provided below the abstract, the first keyword being the most important. The abstract should be presented in English

Page Setup, The manuscript must be typed in multiple spaces 10 pitch by using A4 paper (210 mm x 297 mm) with a left margin of 2.5 cm and right margin-top and down 1.69 cm. The article must be typed in justified formation, and the first paragraph has to be dragged 0.36 cm to the right side.

Outline, the main body of the paper should be numbered in consecutive order as (I) Background or Introduction, (II) Literature Review, (III) Methodology, (IV) Results and Discussions, and (V) Conclusions. All pages should be numbered consecutively. Tables and Figures should be titled and numbered consecutively in numerals. The title of the table is arranged on top of the table and that Fig. subsequently follows the Fig.

References, A numbered list of references must be provided at the end of the paper. IEEE format is selected as the reference to write the citations used in the paper. The minimum number of references is 15 with 80% of them from primary references from the journal articles. The list should be arranged in the order of citation in the text, not in alphabetical order. List only one reference per reference number. Each reference number should be enclosed by square brackets. In the text, citations of references may be given simply as “in [1] . …”, Sample correct formats for various types of references are as follows. Please use citation tools, such as Zotero, Endnote, or Mendeley, to help you manage your references.

REVIEW PROCESS

Manuscript proposed will be reviewed by reviewers with the criteria of originality, significance, quality, and accuracy. Submissions to the Inferensi passes through a double-blind peer-review process. The manuscript will be forwarded to be reviewed by at least two reviewers. The Editorial Board is authorized to accept, reject, or suggest the authors improve manuscripts. The template can be downloaded here (MS Word ).

Revision, the manuscript suggested to be revised has to be sent to the author along with the suggestion of the reviewer. However, the author can provide rebuttal comments or suggestions.
