Jurnal Fisika dan Aplikasinya (JFA) (P-ISSN: 1858-036X; E-ISSN: 2460-4682) only publishes original research articles and review articles on topics in physics (theoretical physics, materials, optics, instrumentation, geophysics, and medical physics) and their applications. Manuscripts submitted to JFA must not have been published elsewhere and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere, in any language. Theoretical, experimental, and practical studies are equally encouraged, as are interdisciplinary articles and those arising from industrial research and collaboration.

JFA is published three times a year, in January, June, and October. Starting with the January 2021 edition, all articles are written in English. Journal History

JFA was first published in 2005, featuring articles written in either Indonesian or English. However, starting in 2021, all accepted articles are in English. Authors contributing to JFA come from universities and research institutions across Indonesia, and some articles result from collaborations with researchers from abroad.
