Abstract
Red cabbage is a natural source of anthocyanin, which can be used as a source of photos sensitizer for Dye Sensitized Solar Cell prototype (DSSC). DSSC fabrication can be done by incorporating the TiO2, glass substrate, electrolytes, carbon, and dye in the form of a sandwich. In this research TiO2 soaked in a solution of extract of red cabbage (Brassica oleracea Var.) with variations in different time is on, 3 hours, 5 hours, 12 hours . From this research produced that 12 hour immersion is the best result of any long immersion with a maximum current (Imax) 14.6 uA and maximum voltage (Vmax) 9.4 mV, and the efficiency of 0.87 × 10-4 %.
