Abstract
Characterization of magneto-impedance effect was conducted on Cu wire with a electrodeposited multilayer [NiFe/Cu]N. Electro-deposition process carried out at room temperature with electrode Pt. Magneto-impedance was modified by varying frequency and was repeated N times. The highest magneto-impedance ratio of 1.31 was obtained for N = 3 at frequency of 100 kHz. The change of ratio at this low frequency indicated that magneto-impedance mechanism was attributed by the different decreasing speed in imaginary component which was much faster than real component.
