Focus and Scope
The Journal of Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JMEST) is an international, open-access journal published three times a year by the Science and Technology Marine & Earth Research Center at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. It provides a platform for scientists, researchers, and scholars to share advances in marine and earth sciences.
We focus on high-quality research covering a wide range of topics such as marine energy, coastal management, geological mapping, marine transportation, and ecological studies. Manuscripts from global institutions are peer-reviewed to ensure relevance and scientific rigor.
Our mission is to promote knowledge exchange that supports sustainable development and innovation in marine and earth science disciplines worldwide.

Submission Guidelines
Follow these steps to submit your manuscript
1 Scope & Originality
The Journal of Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JMEST) publishes original, unpublished articles covering all aspects of marine and earth sciences. Submissions must not be under consideration or published elsewhere to prevent plagiarism and ensure originality.
2 Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts should be written in English using the JMEST template, typed single-spaced on A4 paper, and not exceed 20 pages. Follow formatting rules for titles, author info, abstract, and sections as specified by the journal.
3 Content Structure
The manuscript should include a clear abstract (max 300 words), keywords, and the main sections: Background, Methodology, Result and Discussion, and Conclusions. Figures and tables must be high-quality and properly cited. Ethical approval is mandatory for research involving human subjects.
4 Submission & Author Information
Authors must provide full names, affiliations, and contact details, including email of the corresponding author. Manuscripts are submitted online with all co-authors' approvals secured prior to submission.
5 Peer Review & Publication
All manuscripts undergo a thorough expert peer review and editorial evaluation. Authors may be asked for revisions based on reviewers' feedback. Manuscripts with significant errors may be returned or rejected to maintain quality standards.
