Article Processing Charges

The Journal of Architecture & Environment does not charge any fees for manuscript submission or for the editorial and peer-review process. Authors may submit their manuscripts and undergo the review process free of charge. An Article Processing Charge (APC) will only be applied after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. This fee is intended to support editorial management, production, and online publishing services.

Starting from Volume 25 (April 2026), the APC is set at IDR 500,000.00 or USD 50.00 per accepted manuscript. Detailed payment procedures and instructions will be provided to the corresponding author upon acceptance.

Authors remain fully responsible for any optional services they choose to obtain independently, such as professional proofreading, language editing, translation services, or manuscript preparation prior to submission.

All editorial decisions are based solely on the academic quality, originality, and relevance of the manuscript to the journal’s scope.
