Author Guidline
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Manuscripts must be original, have not been previously published in any scientific journal, are not being submitted elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any other media during the review process, unless the author has officially withdrawn the manuscript from IDEA Design Journal.
- Manuscripts may cover a wide range of research topics in Product Design, Visual Communication Design, Interior Architecture, and Design Management.
- The journal is published twice a year, in February and October.
- All authors intending to publish in IDEA Design Journal are required to comply with all rules and regulations set by the journal.
- This journal does not charge submission fees or article processing/handling fees.
- All published articles are open access and freely available to the public.
MANUSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS
- Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian and follow standard scientific writing conventions.
- Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format, and all images should be in JPEG format.
- Manuscripts must be typed in Times New Roman, font size 10 pt, single-spaced, and arranged in two columns.
- The manuscript should be between four to eight pages in length.
MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE GUIDELINES:
- Title: Should be brief and concise.
- Author Name(s): Author names should be written without academic titles, and must include institutional affiliation and email address.
- Abstract: The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English. It should clearly summarize the overall idea: what was done, what was found, and what the main conclusion is. The abstract must be concise, to the point, and written in a single paragraph.
- Keywords: Use 4 or 5 specific keywords that describe the main idea of the article/paper. List the keywords in alphabetical order, separated by commas.
- Introduction: This section includes the research background, previous literature review (state of the art), research problems, and research objectives.
- Research Methodology: This section explains the methods used in the research or observation, which can be adapted according to your research needs.
- Results and Discussion: This section presents the results of data analysis, answers to research questions, findings, and any innovations (novelties).
- Conclusion and Suggestions: Presents the research conclusions and any recommendations made by the authors.
- References: Use relevant and up-to-date references. Always cite the most widely accessed and credible sources.
