Article Processing Charges Policy
Article Processing Charges Policy
Purpose
To support the sustainability of high-quality scholarly publishing and open access dissemination, this journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.
The APC covers the costs associated with editorial management, peer review administration, copyediting, typesetting, digital publishing, and long-term archiving.
APC Amount
The current Article Processing Charge is:
IDR 1,000,000.00
The APC amount is clearly stated on the journal's official website and is subject to periodic review. Any revisions will be announced in advance.
There are no hidden or additional charges beyond the stated APC.
When Payment is Required
APC payment is requested only after the manuscript has been formally accepted following the peer review process.
Submission of a manuscript does not require any payment.
Failure to pay the APC after acceptance may delay publication but does not affect the editorial evaluation process.
Editorial Independence
Payment of the APC does not influence:
- Peer review evaluation;
- Acceptance or rejection decisions;
- Selection of reviewers or editors;
- Publication scheduling.
Editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.
Waiver and Discount Policy
The journal may provide APC waivers or discounts under defined conditions, such as:
- Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries;
- Institutional partnership agreements;
- Special issue arrangements;
- Other exceptional circumstances.
Requests for waivers must be submitted prior to or immediately after acceptance and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Granting a waiver does not affect editorial decisions.
Refund Policy
APC payments are non-refundable once the production process has commenced.
However, refunds may be considered in the following cases:
- Duplicate payment due to technical or administrative error;
- Editorial withdrawal due to internal administrative error.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the journal's official contact address within 14 days of payment. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
No refund will be issued if:
- The author withdraws the manuscript after publication;
- Retraction occurs due to ethical misconduct or author error.
Financial Transparency
The journal ensures that APC revenue is managed in accordance with institutional governance and financial accountability standards.
APC income supports:
- Editorial operations;
- Production services;
- Digital platform maintenance;
- Long-term archiving and preservation.
The journal does not engage in deceptive monetization practices, fabricated metrics, or misleading claims regarding indexing or impact indicators.
Policy Review
This APC Policy is periodically reviewed to ensure compliance with institutional regulations and international best practices in scholarly publishing.
Any revisions will be communicated transparently through the journal's official website.
