The Journal of Civil Engineering (eISSN 2579-9029 / pISSN 2086-1206) is the successor to the Civil Engineering Department of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) journal, formerly known as Jurnal Teknologi dan Rekayasa Sipil (TORSI). TORSI was established in March 1981, and its name was changed to Journal of Civil Engineering in 2009.

The Journal of Civil Engineering is managed by Pusat Publikasi Ilmiah, under the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia. The journal publishes at least five papers per volume and releases three issues annually, typically in February, June, and October. The peer-review process is conducted online through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
