Focus and Scope
The Journal of Civil Engineering publishes high-quality scientific articles focused on civil engineering, including structures, materials, hydraulics, geotechnics, construction management, and transportation. Articles are accepted in both Indonesian and English.
Managed by the Pusat Publikasi Ilmiah LPPM Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, the journal is peer-reviewed through an online system and releases two volumes annually, featuring at least five papers per volume.
Our aim is to advance knowledge and practice in civil engineering, supporting research that addresses real-world challenges in infrastructure and development.

Submission Guidelines
Follow these steps to submit your manuscript
1Scope and Originality
The Journal of Civil Engineering (JCE) publishes original research manuscripts focused on concrete materials, design, and construction. Submissions must be within the civil engineering field, based on factual data, and contribute significant knowledge. Manuscripts should be written in clear, error-free English.
2Manuscript Preparation
Authors should use the provided template and submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word, typed in 10-point Times New Roman font, double-column format with 1.0 line spacing. The manuscript must include a title, author details, abstract (150-250 words), 3-6 keywords, and clearly organized sections such as introduction, literature review, methodology, results, and conclusion.
3Figures, Tables, and Formulas
All figures and tables must be numbered, cited, and well explained in the text. They may appear as half-page or full-page width. Mathematical equations should be formatted using Word's equation editor or MathType and numbered sequentially.
4References and Permissions
All references cited in the text must be listed in IEEE style using reference management software like Mendeley or EndNote. Permission must be obtained for copyrighted material. Plagiarism and uncited references are not accepted.
5Submission and Review Process
Manuscripts should be checked for spelling, grammar, and plagiarism before submission. Essential acknowledgments such as funding may be included. Submissions undergo peer review based on originality, significance, and clarity before publication consideration.
