Peer Review Process

Each article submitted to Jurnal Penataan Ruang undergoes an initial selection process conducted by the editorial team. Authors are notified of the initial review results and must confirm their willingness to proceed with the selection process according to the assigned queue number.

If an article meets the required criteria, it will be forwarded to two reviewers under a double-blind review process. The reviewers will receive anonymized versions of the manuscript. The final decision on publication is made by the editorial board based on the reviewers’ evaluations.

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited in Jurnal Penataan Ruang. All submitted articles undergo plagiarism screening using Google Scholar, Turnitin, Grammarly, and Google search engines to ensure originality.

Article Processing Charges

Jurnal Penataan Ruang is a national open-access journal. From 2006 to 2021, article processing was free of charge, except for submissions through conference collaborations.

Since 2022, a publication fee of IDR 500,000 applies to all accepted articles. Authors will receive a billing notification via email upon acceptance.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Penataan Ruang publishes one volume per year, with two regular issues released in May and November. Additionally, a Special Issue is published once a year.
