Peer Review Process
All texts published in this journal undergo rigorous peer review, based on initial examination by the editor. The manuscript double-blind at the discretion of the author. The reviews are anonymous and are usually resolved by at least three referees.
Articles must be original, true scientifically, clearly written, and reproduced. Topics must be within the scope of the journal.
All articles will be reviewed by the editor assigned and evaluated for the quality of research and writing, as well as to its suitability for publication in the Journal of Transportation. Papers that are not well written or within the scope of the Journal will be returned to the author directly with the decision "not acceptable".
Each paper passed the initial screening were assigned editor will receive a minimum of 2 reviews that will assess the paper on standards identified above. Review expected to be completed in 4 weeks. The reviewers will be taken out of the Editorial Board, authors, and others who are knowledgeable about the subject matter.
Publication Frequency
This journal is committed to maintaining a consistent and transparent publication schedule to ensure the timely dissemination of scholarly research.
The journal is published 2 times per year, with issues released in February and August. Each volume corresponds to one calendar year and contains two issues.
1. Regular Issues
Articles are published according to the journal’s scheduled issues. Accepted manuscripts are processed and assigned to the next available issue after completion of the editorial and production stages.
2. Special Issues
The journal may occasionally publish special issues focusing on specific themes or emerging topics. Special issues follow the same peer review and editorial standards as regular issues.
3. Changes to Publication Schedule
Any changes to the journal’s publication frequency or schedule will be clearly announced on the journal website.
4. Editorial Responsibility
The editorial team is responsible for managing the editorial workflow to maintain the publication schedule while ensuring rigorous peer review and high editorial standards.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to all of its content, based on the principle that freely available research supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving network among participating libraries. This ensures the creation of permanent archives of the journal for long-term preservation and restoration purposes. Learn more.
