Submission Procedure
Submission Procedure
1. Registration and Login
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system. Authors are required to have an active user account with the Author role.
- Authors who do not yet have an account should select Register and complete the registration form.
- Registered users can select Login and access the Dashboard.
Ensure that the registered email address is active and valid, as all editorial correspondence will be conveyed through the system and email.
2. Submission Workflow
The submission process consists of four main stages. Authors are advised to prepare all necessary files and metadata before starting the submission.
Stage 1 — Start
At this stage, authors are required to:
- Select the appropriate Journal Section.
- Review and agree to the Submission Preparation Checklist.
- Confirm compliance with journal policies (e.g., originality, publication ethics, and copyright).
- Provide Comments for the Editor, including the name, affiliation, and email address of three potential reviewers who have relevant expertise in the manuscript topic.
Only submissions that meet all the requirements in the checklist may proceed to the next stage.
Stage 2 — Upload Manuscript
Authors are required to upload the following files:
- The main manuscript file prepared according to the journal template.
- A statement letter acknowledging the review process which can be downloaded from the available template.
- Supplementary files (if any), such as:
- Cover letter
- Supporting materials or datasets
- Ethics approval documents
- High-resolution images
Each file must be uploaded using the appropriate file category as provided by the system.
Stage 3 — Enter Metadata
Authors must complete the submission metadata accurately and thoroughly, including:
- Manuscript title
- Abstract
- Keywords (3–5 keywords, arranged alphabetically, according to the Author Guidelines)
- Author information: name (without academic titles), affiliation, and email address
- Designation of the corresponding author
Important notes:
- All communication regarding manuscript revisions and final editorial decisions will be conveyed only to the corresponding author.
- Authors must ensure consistency between the manuscript file and the metadata entered in the system to support indexing and citation processes.
- For authors with a single-word name, name repetition may be required in the metadata for indexing purposes.
Stage 4 — Confirmation
Authors are expected to review all uploaded files and entered metadata. Once confirmed correct, select Finish Submission to complete the submission process. A confirmation notification will appear, and the manuscript will appear on the author's Dashboard.
3. After Submission
After successful submission:
- Authors can track the manuscript status through the Dashboard (e.g., Submission, Review, Copyediting, Production).
- The editorial team will conduct an initial screening to assess scope suitability, completeness, format, and compliance with journal policies.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will proceed to the peer review process in accordance with the journal's review policy.
4. Support and Assistance
For technical issues related to the online submission system (such as account access, file upload problems, or notifications), authors are advised to contact the journal management team through the contact information available on the journal website.
