Jurnal Aplikasi Teknik Sipil (JATS) E-ISSN 2579-891X publishes writings on applications in the field of Civil Engineering. These applications may come from all branches of civil engineering, including structural engineering and materials, construction management, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and water resources and hydraulic engineering. Thus, these applications are not limited to building construction projects, but also cover modeling work supported by software.

Jurnal Aplikasi Teknik Sipil (JATS) was first published in 2006 as a printed journal by the Department of Civil Infrastructure Engineering (DTIS), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, initiated by Mohamad Khoiri, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., Dr. Ir. Machsus, S.T., M.T., and Ir. Tatas, S.T., M.T. Originally issued twice a year, the journal now publishes four issues per year. JATS later migrated to an electronic, open access format under the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform with E-ISSN 2579-891X, assigning a DOI to every published article. In 2026, starting from Vol. 24 No. 3 (August 2026 issue), the journal migrated from OJS 2 to OJS 3 to improve the editorial workflow, metadata quality, and reading experience for authors, reviewers, and readers. Its accreditation ranking was upgraded from SINTA-4 to SINTA-3 through the Decree of the Minister of Research and Technology/Head of BRIN No. 200/M/KPT/2020, and JATS continues to strengthen its editorial and reviewer network as well as its indexing coverage to improve the quality and visibility of its publications.
