The Journal of Infrastructure & Facility Asset Management (JIFAM) operates on an open access publishing model, ensuring that all research findings in infrastructure and facility management are freely accessible to practitioners, researchers, and policymakers worldwide. To sustain the quality and accessibility of our publication, JIFAM implements a transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) model.
Article Processing Charge (APC):
The APC for publishing an article in JIFAM is set at Rp. 0,-. This nominal fee supports the rigorous peer-review process, editorial management, digital preservation, and global dissemination of research in infrastructure asset management, facility operations, and related engineering disciplines.
No Hidden Fees:
Authors submitting to JIFAM will not encounter any additional publication fees. There are no charges for submission, article formatting, standard figures and tables, or supplementary data related to infrastructure case studies, facility assessments, or asset management frameworks.
Waivers and Financial Support:
JIFAM is committed to supporting researchers from developing countries, early-career professionals, and authors facing financial constraints. Full or partial APC waivers are available upon request. Authors from institutions with limited research funding or those presenting exceptional infrastructure case studies from underrepresented regions are encouraged to contact the editorial office for waiver eligibility information.
Transparent Allocation of Funds:
APC revenues are dedicated to maintaining JIFAM's publication standards, including:
- Expert peer review by infrastructure and facility management specialists
- Professional copyediting and technical formatting
- Digital object identifier (DOI) assignment and indexing services
- Platform maintenance and digital archiving
- Promotion of published research to relevant industry and academic networks
Commitment to Open Access in Infrastructure Research:
By implementing this APC model, JIFAM ensures that critical research in infrastructure resilience, facility lifecycle management, asset performance optimization, and sustainable infrastructure development remains freely accessible. This supports evidence-based decision-making in public works, corporate facility management, and infrastructure policy development globally.
Through this sustainable funding approach, JIFAM continues to advance knowledge sharing in infrastructure and facility asset management while maintaining high scholarly standards and broad accessibility for both academic and professional communities.
