Focus and Scope

GEOID: Journal of Geodesy and Geomatics publishes research spanning the full breadth of geodesy and geomatics, from foundational theory to applied practice. Topics of interest include natural disaster mitigation, land and ocean development, natural resource management, environmental monitoring, and earth sciences. The journal also covers specialized domains such as optical and radar remote sensing, cadastre and 3D modeling, geodynamics, geospatial information systems, land surveying, geomarine studies, and photogrammetry — reflecting the interdisciplinary scope of modern geomatics engineering.

Submission Guidelines

Follow these steps to submit your manuscript

1Scope & Originality

GEOID journal publishes original articles in geodesy and geomatics that have not been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Manuscripts are reviewed based on originality, significance, quality, and accuracy.

2Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in English and formatted using the provided template (Word or RTF). Use A4 paper with specified margins and font spacing, proper scientific notation, and include consecutively numbered sections: Background, Method, Result and Discussion, and Conclusions.

3Abstract & Keywords

Provide a concise abstract (maximum 100 words) summarizing the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions. Include up to 10 keywords below the abstract, with the most important keyword listed first.

4Figures, Tables & Length

Tables and figures should be numbered in Arabic numerals and placed on separate sheets at the end. Figures must be original, glossy, and sized no larger than 15 cm by 20 cm. Manuscripts should be between 8 and 20 pages inclusive.

5References & Submission

References must follow APA style, listed in the order of citation, with one reference per number enclosed in square brackets. Citation management tools are recommended. Authors must provide full names and addresses; corresponding authors must include contact details for communication.
