About
Indonesian Journal of Development Studies (IJDS) is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed medium for critical research and reflection on various complex issues of development theory, policy, and practice. This journal publishes various articles and review essays. The journal aims to continuously inform readers through commentaries, practical notes, and reviews of recent books and other media on development. This journal has a global perspective and encourages contributions from academics and practitioners around the world.
IJDS is edited at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Indonesia. The editorial administration is located at the Institute for Research and Community Service at the same university. IJDS is published in collaboration with the Indonesian Development Studies Consortium with support from members of the Development Studies Department at the Bandung Institute of Technology, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Satya Wacana Christian University, Andalas University, and North Sumatra University.
Papers in English are welcome. We accept theoretical papers, especially if they offer thought-provoking interdisciplinary analysis; however, priority is given to articles based on empirical research, case studies, or fieldwork that have significant implications for development policy and practice.
