Focus and Scope

This journal publishes accessible, peer-reviewed articles across all areas of development studies. We welcome contributions from scholars and practitioners writing for a broad, interdisciplinary audience.

Submissions may address economics, environment, health, gender, education, culture, governance, human rights, conflict, and disaster, with clear explanations and minimal disciplinary jargon.

We also encourage short, insightful articles on current development practices, policies, teaching experiences, and discussions that respond to or extend ideas from previous issues.

Submission Guidelines

Follow these steps to submit your manuscript

1 Scope & Article Types

The journal accepts original, unpublished, and plagiarism-free manuscripts in development studies. Suitable submissions include research articles, conceptual papers, case studies, policy analyses, issue reports, and book reviews relevant to development discourse.

2 Language & Length Requirements

Manuscripts may be written in English (preferred) or Bahasa Indonesia using clear academic language. Papers must not exceed 12 pages (A4, 1.5 spacing), including references, tables, and figures. Abstracts and keywords must be in English.

3 Manuscript Structure & Format

Submissions should follow the official manuscript template and standard academic structure, including title, author information, abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results and discussion, conclusion, and references. Files must be submitted in Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.

4 Submission & Review Process

All manuscripts must be submitted online and will undergo editorial screening and peer review. Authors may be asked to revise their work based on reviewers' and editors' feedback. Submission confirmation and decisions are communicated via email.

5 Publication Fee & Author Responsibility

An article processing fee of IDR 100,000 (USD 6) applies upon acceptance. Authors must ensure compliance with submission guidelines and agree to revise manuscripts when required.
