Peer Review Process

IPTEK The Journal for Technology and Science maintains a high standard of quality through a rigorous peer-review process. Manuscripts are reviewed by professors and experts in the relevant field, invited from reputable universities both in Indonesia and abroad, using a single-blind review system.

The review process typically takes between 4-6 weeks from the submission date.

All submitted manuscripts are screened for potential plagiarism using iThenticate before further processing.

Publication Frequency

IPTEK: The Journal for Technology and Science is an academic journal focusing on issues related to natural sciences and technology. The journal was published quarterly (February, May, August, and November) until 2011. Starting in 2012, the publication schedule was adjusted to April, August, and December annually.

The journal welcomes submissions from scientists, researchers, educators, and scholars worldwide.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to all of its content, based on the principle that freely available research supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving network among participating libraries. This ensures the creation of permanent archives of the journal for long-term preservation and restoration purposes. Learn more.
