APC Policy
Article Processing Charges Policy
Purpose
To support the sustainability of high-quality scientific publishing and open access dissemination, this journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.
The APC covers costs related to editorial management, peer review administration, copyediting, typesetting, digital publication, and long-term archiving.
APC Amount
The current Article Processing Charge (APC) amount is: Rp 1,000,000.00 for a standard manuscript.
The APC amount is clearly stated on the journal's official website and may be reviewed periodically. Any changes will be announced in advance.
There are no hidden fees or additional charges beyond the stated APC.
Payment Timing
APC payment is requested only after the manuscript has been officially accepted through the peer review process.
No payment is required for manuscript submission.
Failure to pay the APC after acceptance may delay the publication process, but does not affect the editorial evaluation process.
Editorial Independence
APC payment does not affect:
- The peer review evaluation process;
- The decision to accept or reject a manuscript;
- The selection of reviewers or editors;
- The publication schedule.
Editorial decisions are based solely on academic quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.
Waiver and Discount Policy
The journal may provide waivers or discounts on the APC under certain conditions, such as:
- Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries;
- Institutional partnership agreements;
- Special issue arrangements;
- Other exceptional circumstances.
Requests for fee waivers must be submitted before or immediately after the manuscript is accepted and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
The granting of waivers or discounts does not affect editorial decisions.
Refund Policy
APC payments are non-refundable once the production process has begun.
However, refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
- Duplicate payment due to technical or administrative error;
- Withdrawal of the manuscript by the editor due to internal administrative error.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the journal's official contact address within 14 days from the payment date. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds will not be provided if:
- The author withdraws the manuscript after publication;
- A retraction occurs due to ethical violations or author error.
Financial Transparency
The journal ensures that revenue from APCs is managed in accordance with institutional governance standards and financial accountability.
APC revenue is used to support:
- Editorial operations;
- Production services;
- Digital platform maintenance;
- Long-term archiving and preservation.
The journal does not engage in misleading monetization practices, the use of fabricated metrics, or misleading claims regarding indexing or impact indicators.
Policy Review
This APC policy is reviewed periodically to ensure compliance with institutional regulations and international best practices in scholarly publishing.
Any changes will be communicated transparently through the journal's official website.
