Limits: Journal of Mathematics and Its Applications

Limits Journal (Journal of Mathematics and Its Applications) with registration numbers ISSN 1829-605X (print), ISSN 2579-8936 (online) is a multidisciplinary scientific journal published by the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Data Analytics, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya, Indonesia. Limits accepts research papers in all fields of Mathematics, especially:

• Analysis
• Algebra
• Mathematical Modeling
• Systems and Control
• Discrete Mathematics and Combinatorics
• Statistics and Stochastic
• Applied Mathematics
• Optimization
• Computational Science

This journal also accepts literature survey papers that stimulate research in the above fields.

Limits Online has been available since October 24, 2016 or since the publication of Volume 13, Number 2 of 2016. Limits Journal is indexed by Indonesia Publication Index, Google Scholar and Cross Ref. The Editorial Team of Limits Journal invites you to contribute as an author of this journal. • The manuscript title must be written at the top of the first page in the center.
• Author names (without academic titles) and author affiliation addresses must be written.
• Keywords must be arranged alphabetically between three to five words.

The corresponding author must be written first, followed by the second author, third author, etc. Communication regarding article revisions and final decisions is conveyed via email only to the corresponding author. If there is more than one author, then the name of the second author is placed next to the first author, separated by a comma (,). If the author's name consists of at least two words, then the first name must not be abbreviated. If the author's name consists of only one word, then it is written as is. However, specifically in the online version, the author's name will be written as two words with repetition of the name for metadata indexing purposes (Eridani, 2006, Imron and Wahyudi, 2010).

The general manuscript requirements are as follows:

1. The manuscript is an authentic research result that has never been published.
2. The manuscript does not contain elements of plagiarism. The Editorial Board will directly reject manuscripts indicated as plagiarized.
3. Publication fees can be seen at the link.
4. Manuscripts written according to the requirements of Limits Journal (with Ms. Word, using the template) must be submitted online using the Open Journal System (OJS) on the Limits Journal portal.
5. The template and requirements for article writing use Ms. Word format, which can be downloaded at the link.

7. Manuscripts that do not comply with Limits Journal writing requirements will be returned to the author before the review process.
8. The manuscript must contain several aspects of a scientific article, namely:
   • Article title
   • Author names (without titles)
   • Author affiliation address
   • Author email
   • Abstract and keywords
   • Introduction
   • Methods
   • Results and discussion
   • Conclusion
   • References
9. Subheadings included in the discussion sections (Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion) should use Arabic numerals starting from one. Subheadings are written without bold font.
10. The manuscript consists of Five to Eight pages. Do not place page numbers.
11. The submitted manuscript must be camera ready.
12. Articles are written using A4 paper size, with the following margins:
    • Left: 25 mm
    • Right: 20 mm
    • Bottom: 20 mm
    • Top: 30 mm
13. The text in the article uses Times New Roman font type, 12pt, 1.5 line spacing and single column.
14. Words that are foreign language are written in italics.
15. Each figure is numbered followed by the figure caption below the figure.
16. Each table is numbered followed by the table title above the table.
17. Every figure, table and graph is placed in the center.
18. The heading on odd pages (starting from page 3) states a summary of the paper title, while on even pages it states the author's name. Font size 10-point, centered with capital letters only on the first word.

• Manuscript Title: The title should be informative and written clearly. The title must not give rise to different interpretations. The first letter is capitalized and symmetrical. The article title must not contain uncommon abbreviations. The article title is written in a maximum of twelve words, 18pt, and centered. The abstract contains 150-250 words and is followed by three to five keywords.
• Introduction: The introduction contains the background and/or urgency of the research. A literature review is also included as the basis for the latest research questions, reviewing previous research relevant to the conducted research. At the end of the introduction, the purpose of writing the article is stated.
• Methods: The methods section contains the method or approach undertaken, procedures, instruments, data collection techniques and data analysis techniques as well as other matters related to the research method.
• Results and Discussion: Research results can be described descriptively or presented in the form of graphs, tables or diagrams. The discussion focuses on linking the data and analysis results with the research problems or objectives. The discussion can also be an answer to the question of why the facts were found as in the data.
• Conclusion: The conclusion can be a generalization of findings according to the research problem, or can be in the form of possible development for further steps. The conclusion can be in paragraph form, but should preferably be in the form of points using numbering or bullet points.
• References: The reference list only includes all references cited in the manuscript. The reference list must contain reference sources from primary sources (scientific journals and amounting to a minimum of 60% of the entire reference list) published within the last ten years.

• All data or phrases or sentences in the article taken from other articles must have their sources cited.
• Writing the reference list uses a reference manager application to maintain consistency of citation style and reference list, such as Mendeley, Zotero or others.
• The citation and reference list format used in Limits Journal follows the format provided by IEEE.
