SEWAGATI Journal is a specialized journal for community service (abmas) where the community serves as partners in these activities. The journal's scope covers all community service activities; if there is technology developed, articles must explain the implementation of that technology in solving community problems. Submitted manuscripts must be original and have not been published or disseminated in other journals.

Articles should be written on A4 paper (210mm x 297mm) with a recommended manuscript length of 6 - 10 pages. The entire manuscript uses Times New Roman font size 12 pt. Writing conventions must adhere to punctuation and spelling rules according to the Enhanced Indonesian Spelling Guidelines (published by the Language Agency, Ministry of Education and Culture).

Writing Structure

A complete article generally consists of title, introduction or preface, main body, conclusion, and references.

Title & Author Identity

• Should concisely and effectively describe the content of the community service article, and as much as possible attract reader interest.
• Author names should be written in full without titles. Affiliations are indicated with numbering 1, 2, 3, ... etc.
• Corresponding author is marked with (*) and includes correspondence address consisting of affiliation address and email address.

Introduction or Preface

• Abstract contains a brief summary of the entire community service article covering the problem, solution, program achievement results, and program sustainability, with a maximum length of 250 words.
• Keywords consist of 3 to 5 words, starting from the most general and important.
• Introduction contains the background of why the community service program is needed, problem solutions, and the target outputs to be achieved.
• Background explains the main problem, importance of the topic, and current conditions of the community or program partners.
• Introduction also includes the proposed solutions and target outputs or results to be achieved.
• Target outputs must be measurable and have achievement indicators as benchmarks for success and benefits for partners.

Activity Methods

Contains explanations of how the community service activities or programs are implemented. Accompanied by charts or activity flow diagrams to facilitate understanding of the implementation flow. Points in the flow diagram serve as references for the order of writing the Results and Discussion section.

Results and Discussion

• Contains the results of the community service program implementation.
• Contains analysis of program achievements against expected outputs or targets.
• Accompanied by documentation of community service activities.
• Comprises approximately 50% of the entire manuscript.
• Emphasizes analysis and discussion related to the community as partners, such as partner responses to program benefits.

Conclusion and Recommendations

• Reviews the main results or contributions of community service implementation.
• Reiterates the importance of the program.
• Provides potential and sustainable recommendations.
• Presents main results that answer the title and solve the problem.

Acknowledgments

• Contains acknowledgement statements about funding sponsors and thanks to parties supporting community service activities.

References

References

• Minimum of 10 reference articles.
• Can include scientific articles, publications, books, government documents, and online articles.
• The reference writing format used in the SEWAGATI journal follows the Vancouver style format.
• References must be arranged according to the citation order in the article body with numbering [1], [2], etc., not in alphabetical A-Z order.
