Development of a Motion Graphic Training Module to Improve Learning Quality in Mechanic Training: A Case Study of PT Bina Pertiwi

Abstract

Technological developments have various impacts that can affect the performance of a company. The steps that companies can take to deal with technological developments are to be open to change and always learn to innovate. With social changes along with technological developments, companies must be open and make adjustments so as to mitigate outdated steps that can have a negative impact on the company. Digitalization is the company's effort to keep up with technological developments by implementing digital technology. One way to implement digitalization is through motion graphics as an educational medium to improve the quality of training. How to improve the quality of learning requires organizational management, which has the 5M elements. The research case study is PT Bina Pertiwi Member of Astra, this company operates in the agricultural and heavy equipment industry. The 5M elements, namely the methods owned by PT Bina Pertiwi, can be improved. Methods for digitizing various motion graphics can help improve the quality of PT mechanical training. Bina Pertiwi. The process of preparing this research through several methods, namely literacy studies from training modules, existing studies on motion graphics of a company as a means of reference, analysis of target consumers, experimental studies, depth interviews with stakeholders, motion prototyping, and user testing. The results of the data obtained will be examined as the basis for concept design ideation. The intention of designing this motion implementation is as a protocol to become a standard for a company to start applying digital media such as motion videos as a medium for educating employees in the company in order to increase the effectiveness of the company's employee performance.
