Volume 4, Issue 1 (June 2026) of the International Journal of Business and Management Technology in Society features five articles contributed by ten authors from seven affiliations across three countries: Malaysia, Taiwan, and Indonesia. The issue explores employee experiences, organizational knowledge, international advertising, and production efficiency.

The contributions examine the relationship between the Islamic work environment and employee performance, with Islamic work motivation as a mediator, at Bank Jatim Syariah Surabaya. Another study investigates organizational climate, workplace loneliness, and Generation Z employees’ intentions to stay or leave manufacturing firms in Jabodetabek. A conceptual article addresses epistemic justification in technology-driven knowledge management, while a bibliometric review maps the intellectual structure and thematic development of international advertising research. Completing the issue, an operational study applies the BLOCPLAN algorithm to redesign a black tea production facility’s layout to minimize material handling distance and cost.

Together, these articles offer researchers and practitioners complementary perspectives on workforce management, knowledge development, marketing strategy, and operational improvement.
