Submission Guidelines

Follow these steps to submit your manuscript

1 Scope & Language

Jurnal Penginderaan Jauh Indonesia (JPJI) accepts original articles in Indonesian or English related to the field of remote sensing. The manuscript length is 5–8 pages and must follow the JPJI template using Times New Roman font, generally 10 pt in size.

2 Manuscript Structure

The manuscript begins with a concise title (maximum 15 words) and author information including full name, affiliation, and email address listed in a footnote. Include an abstract of maximum 200 words summarizing the background, objectives, methods, and main conclusions, followed by 3–6 relevant keywords.

3 Content and Format

Materials and methods must be clearly described so that the research can be replicated. Results are presented concisely supported by figures or tables, avoiding data repetition. The discussion focuses on important findings without repeating methods, and standard units according to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) are used. Uncommon abbreviations must be explained on first use, and Latin species names are included along with common names on first mention.

4 Citations and References

Use the IEEE citation style with reference numbers in square brackets [ ], managed through software such as Mendeley or Zotero. Example:
1 M. Jaelani et al., "An improved atmospheric correction algorithm...," Int. J. Appl. Earth Obs., vol. 39, pp. 128–141, Jul. 2015.

5 Manuscript Submission and Acknowledgments

Authors must paste all content using the "Keep Text Only" option to maintain format consistency in the template. Acknowledgments are written briefly (maximum 40 words) and only include essential funding or institutional support.
