Focus and Scope
GEOSAINTEK Journal, published by the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) in collaboration with the Indonesian Geophysicists Association (HAGI), features high-quality research in the field of earth sciences. The journal is published three times a year in April, August, and December, and accepts contributions from researchers, practitioners, and academics.
The journal focuses on studies, research, and applications of science and technology in earth sciences, including data collection, processing, interpretation, and simulation, as well as technology development and policy.
Accredited Sinta-2 by the Indonesian Ministry of Research and Education, GEOSAINTEK Journal supports innovations that benefit both science and society.

Submission Guidelines
Follow the steps below to submit your manuscript
1 Scope & Originality
GEOSAINTEK Journal publishes original research articles in the field of earth sciences and related technologies. Manuscripts must be authentic works, have not been previously published nor submitted to other journals, and be free from plagiarism. Contributions from researchers, practitioners, and academics are highly welcome.
2 Manuscript Requirements
Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format using the journal's official template. Manuscript length is 5–15 pages, A4 paper size, using Calibri 11 pt font, single spacing, and arranged in two columns. Manuscripts must include title, author names (without academic titles), affiliation, email, abstract of 150–250 words, 3–5 keywords, introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusion, and references. Figures and tables must be numbered, centered, and accompanied by captions.
3 Citation Style
Use Harvard citation style for all citations and references. All references cited in the manuscript must be listed in the bibliography, with the majority of sources from the last ten years. It is recommended to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero to maintain citation consistency.
4 Online Submission Process
Manuscripts are submitted online through the Open Journal System (OJS) on the GEOSAINTEK portal. Authors need to register as authors and follow five submission stages: start submission, upload manuscript, fill metadata, upload supporting files (if any), and confirm submission. The submitting author is responsible for all communication and revisions.
5 Review & Publication Process
All manuscripts will undergo a review process coordinated by the editorial team to ensure scientific quality. Accepted articles will be published in print and online versions without any submission or publication fees.
